Responsible for providing library circulation services to students, faculty, staff, and community patrons.
Description of Duties and Tasks:
Responsible for providing circulation services in-person, by telephone, and by email to library patrons; assisting patrons in locating and using research materials and course reserves, and providing basic technology assistance and instruction to patrons. Performs circulation desk transactions; loans, returns, and hold requests. Shelves library materials, shelf reads for accuracy, and shifts collections when needed.
Minimum Qualifications :
Associate’s degree or the equivalent combination of experience and/or training. Customer service experience Basic computer skills
Working knowledge of integrated library systems including Alma, Library of Congress Classification, and Microsoft Office suite. Experience in a community college and/or academic library. Experience providing circulation services.
