The Department of Psychology at Rider University seeks applicants for a non-tenure-track Lecturer position. Rider is a private, coeducational university located near Princeton, NJ, and within easy driving distance or train ride to New York City and Philadelphia. The teaching workload is eight sections per academic year. The primary responsibilities of the Lecturer are teaching, advising students primarily in their courses of instruction and service to the Psychology Department, although he/she may also provide service to the College and the University. We are a collegial and creative group of 15 members of the Department of Psychology, including graduates of top programs across the country, and research and teaching award recipients. The successful candidate must hold a graduate degree in Psychology; a Ph.D. or ABD is preferred. College teaching experience is strongly preferred. Major teaching responsibilities may include courses in general psychology, clinical psychology, health psychology, and organizational psychology.
