Advanced Practice Provider to help expand the women’s heart clinic at the Gill Heart and Vascular Institute.
The APP in the ambulatory care setting works in collaboration with a multidisciplinary health care team. APP is generally service or MD aligned and manages a distinct patient population in the outpatient setting. The APP who functions primarily in the clinic may perform some coordination of inpatient care and outpatient follow up after discharge. The APP has a strong foundation in evidenced based practice and education and ensures safe quality care. Demonstrates an advanced level of medical knowledge, clinical and technical competency, sound clinical judgment, & timely and compliant documentation.

Required License/Registration/Certification :
For Nurse Practitioner applicants, active Kentucky Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license.
For Physician Assistant applicants, current National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) certification and active Kentucky Physician Assistant (PA) license.
