The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences is looking for a postdoctoral fellow position for a project funded through the Center of Protein Therapeutics. The project involves the evaluation of kidney, liver and brain transport of proteins and drugs and the influence of transport in the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of proteins and drugs. The studies will involve in vitro techniques (cell culture, molecular biology), in vivo small animal experimentation, and pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic modeling.
Job Duties will include: -Small Animals studies -Cell culture and molecular biology studies -Bioanalysis of samples -Supervision of students in the lab -Additional administrative and research based activities.

Applicants should have a Ph.D degree with a background in the Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Biology or related disciplines.
Experience with small animal studies, LC/MS analysis, cell culture and molecular biology techniques, as well as experience with pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamics modeling are desirable. As well good communication and writing skills are very desirable.
