The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill seeks innovative and accomplished candidates for the position of Business Analyst in the Office of the University Registrar. The Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing, recommending, designing, and documenting business process and technical solutions that lead to improved efficiencies and service to students, faculty, and staff. This position is a member of a collaborative team that works with campus partners to research and implement IT solutions in a timely manner. This position routinely engages in problem-solving designed around measures of service and efficiency. As part of these responsibilities, this position requires an understanding of higher-education administration and technology, as well as University needs, policies, and procedures. The Business Analyst will coordinate efforts with all members of the office to achieve a happy, healthy, and highly effective working environment.
Education and Experience:
Demonstrated experience in business analysis; problem solving; solution development; project management. Also requires experience with enterprise systems and software and excellent oral and written communication skills. Experience with PeopleSoft, student records, and academic advisement is strongly preferred.
