UAB Department of Pediatrics seeks qualified candidates to join the faculty of our thriving Division of Cardiology. As a joint cooperative of Children’s of Alabama and the University of Alabama at Birmingham, we are leaders in comprehensive pediatric and adult congenital cardiac care for the people of Alabama and Southeast United States.
The selected candidates will work with our multidisciplinary to team to provide a continuum of care for patients with congenital heart disease. Candidates will be expected to participate in general outpatient and/or specialty clinical activities, provide inpatient services, and possible research activity that aligns with the goals of the division. A history of excellent communication and evidence of exceptional clinical and teaching skills are a must. Preference will be given to individuals with a strong interest/experience in scholarly activities and clinical/translational research. Start-up resources for faculty development, research and teaching are available where appropriate.
