As part of Student Services staff for large online learning program, supports both the registration and course specialist functions, based on the needs of the unit. Office-based position that covers Saturday and evening hours in rotation with other staff.This is not a remote position.
Description of Duties and Tasks:
Provides customer service and general information to students on admission, programs, enrollment.; Assists students with navigating through the online application and registration.; Answer general questions regarding system capabilities and functions, including how to add/drop or register.; Provides front-end general troubleshooting assistance to students, faculty, and staff engaged in online learning (refer technical issues to IT Course Support).; Scans documents to student records.; Explains the test proctoring process and assist students in order to partner with other colleges as needed.; Directs students to resources regarding enrollment information, and provides contact information and refers inquiries to the correct academic representative.
Minimum Qualifications :
Associate's degree or equivalent applicable experience and/or training. Must have demonstrated customer service experience. Prior experience working in an office environment.
Must have weekend and evening availability.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent applicable experience and/or training. Prior experience working in a higher education institution, preferably a community college. Prior experience working in a virtual learning environment.
