The Infrastructure Analyst – Clarity/Cogito DBA and ETL Administrator will be responsible for creating, configuring and maintaining the Cogito and Caboodle database(s) to ensure high performance and availability and will serve as a subject matter expert in the capabilities of these products. This position will require a strong working knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server / Oracle) and the effective application of data architecture concepts (e.g. – dimensional modeling). This position will be responsible for business continuity plans for these products which will include effective maintenance, backup and recovery, and data security plans and procedures. This position will support the use of related third-party tools including SAP Business Objects (e.g. – Crystal Reports, WEBI, Explorer, etc) and require an understanding of Universes, Cubes and Visualization. This position will develop and maintain data integration (ETL) to integrate internal (Epic) and external (non-Epic) data into and within the Epic analytical products/databases to support reporting and self-service analytics as needed by the various Epic analytics products. This position will collaborate with other data warehouse teams to develop and support data integration to third-party data warehouse platforms and tools (e.g – IBM Netezza, i2b2, Shrine, etc.) which will require development experience using SSIS, DataStage, T-SQL, etc.

Required Related Experience:
Required License/Registration/Certification :
Selected vendor certification within 10 weeks after the successful completion of training.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Business Administration, Health Administration and/or Healthcare preferred.
Preferred experience in health care discipline, information technology, and/or related field.
