Ithaca College's Department of Education (located in Ithaca, NY) invites applicants for a tenure-eligible Assistant Professor position for a teacher educator with a specialty in linguistic diversity in K-12 schools and language acquisition, and an additional area of expertise to join a collaborative, growing department beginning August 16, 2020. The position involves teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in second language acquisition and literacy development; teaching courses in areas such as methods or field-based seminars appropriate for the candidate's expertise and the department's needs; conducting and publishing research; and participating in service to the department, campus, community, and profession.
