The Functional Business Analyst will work with members of the Comptroller's Office and Information Technology Services (ITS) to support, analyze, design, and implement the financial and payroll applications and systems including, but not limited to Effort Reporting, Conflict of Interest, and Lease Accounting Administration. This is an extremely fast paced, varied, cross-functional position requiring the ability to learn new processes on demand, while acting as an additional resource to assume the business analyst role on financial and payroll projects as required. This position serves as the primary liaison between departmental users and ITS, and although this is not considered a technical role, data analysis and report writing experience is an essential part of this position. In this role, the candidate will work to ensure that projects align with the University and Comptroller's Office strategic goals.
