University College (UC) is seeking a full-time (100%) Director of Operational Services to join the dynamic academic and student services org. Under the direction of the Associate Deans for Distance and Online Education (DOE) and University College, this role oversees the complex administrative and technological needs of the departments.
This position is responsible for operational support and information management of University College units and departments which engage with all the undergraduate colleges as well as several graduate programs. Current and anticipated projects require proactive administration, vision, business acumen, and negotiation skills in order to harness and maximize the scope and impact of the college in the short term, and the strategic vision for the college in the long term.

About the Org:University College is both an org and a department under the umbrella of the Office of the Provost. Housed within the org are academic and student service offices such as Distance and Online Education, Orientation Services, Academic Support and Retention, the Honors Program, and the UI Liberal Arts Behind Bars program. These areas work both independently and collaborative to provide undergraduate and graduate students of all types an inclusive, accessible and quality educational experience.
