Organize project meetings and work with business owners to identify application enhancements needed on the platform.
Translate application work into actionable tasks to be performed by developers on the team.
Brainstorm with the team on architectural decisions as the platform grows and its functionalities expand.
Helping in the accrual of new projects by adding technical writing and estimates to grants and project proposals.
Facilitate technical discussions and coordinated efforts across the team to remove blocking issues.
This is a 12-month term appointment with the possibility of renewal contingent on funding.

5+ years of leadership experience in a Software Engineering focused environment. Some experience with Agile methodologies; Familiarity with Java and web technology development environments and tools; Experience working directly with project stakeholders for planning and design purposes; Effective communication skills.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Management or similar preferred. Technical project management certification or coursework a strong plus.
