This position will report tothe Director for Zone Maintenance and be responsible for a small, elite crewable to respond to the needs of the Campus community. Must be able to lead a highly technical andskilled group to respond to the needs of the Facilities Services team. Must be able to learn and implementpredictive and proactive maintenance technologies including, but not limitedto, vibration and thermal analysis. Willhave responsibility to assist with energy management on campus. Will have responsibilities for glass, doors,door operators maintenance and installation. Must be able to learn computerapplications. Must be willing to betrained to multi-disciplined capabilities. Must be able to work well with others. Must have aptitude to be trained for energy conservation efforts. Must have excellent communications skills tobe able to communicate effectively with all members of the Campus communityincluding staff, faculty, administration, visitors, contractors, andvendors.
