This is a 12 month, 40 hour per week position
The standard hours for this position are 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, but may change due to business needs
Minimum starting salary is $15.69 per hour
Anticipated start date is flexible
Office Support & Reception (70%)
Create welcoming atmosphere in Housing Office for in-person visitors
Respond to questions from prospective students, residents and parents regarding housing policies, procedures, billing, programs and facilities
Respond to email inquiries submitted to departmental account
Answer office phone, respond to voicemail, and take messages
Schedule appointments as needed
Serve as an informational resource to other departments
Maintain inventory of various office supplies & equipment
Housing Applications & Assignment Processes (15%)
Process “Under 18 Addendum” forms
Review registration status for students with active housing contracts
Receive contract cancel notifications, process refund requests, send contract cancellation verification emails
Receive and process room change requests
Receive and process meal plan change requests
Manage Student Request Process (5%)
Receive early arrival, late checkout, and other contract exception requests from students
Enter requests into various tracking documents or housing software
Notifying students (via email or telephone) who have made these requests of the decision of the Director of Housing
Departmental Responsibilities (10%)
Assist with move-in and move-out processes.
Participate in department-wide committees and functions
Assist Housing & Residence Life in other areas as assigned.
HS Diploma / GED Equivalent
2 years experience of office or administrative work (Training or education may be substituted for some of the years experience)
Demonstrated computer skills
