The Kinesiology Department of St. Ambrose University seeks an energetic faculty member for a full-time, tenure-track position at the assistant professor level in Sport Management beginning August 2020. Qualified applicants will possess a Doctoral degree in Sport Management or a closely related field (ABD considered), the ability to contribute broadly within the Sport Management curriculum especially in the area of sport marketing and/or sales, an exceptional commitment to student learning, and strong communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate would also have professional experience in the field of sport management. Responsibilities of this position include teaching, advising and mentoring students, serving on department and university committees and implementing a scholarship agenda. There is a possibility of teaching across multiple forms of delivery within the department based on expertise and need in the department.
