Position Summary: Support PeopleSoft Payroll for University of California faculty, staff and students based on extensive technical knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM modules: HR, Benefits, Absence Management, NA Payroll, Candidate Gateway with SSO, InFlight Drupal, Talemetry and other integrations.

Responsible for Strategic and Tactical Solutions design, development, maintenance and enhancements of technical components including building PeopleSoft environments, configure, administer and troubleshoot PeopleSoft application systems in high availability, fast paced, multi-instance multi-vendor hosting environment.
Job Requirements Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
Minimum of 7 years of experience involving PeopleSoft Admin activities. Required
Knowledge/Skills: Deep understanding of PeopleSoft architecture and PeopleSoft payroll system and specifically in an Oracle Linux and WebLogic hosting environment.
Analyze issues with application servers, process schedulers, web servers, SQRs, PeopleCode, Application Engine, BI Publisher, application messaging/integration broker search engines.
Administration and configuration of Oracle and Peoplesoft components and 3rd party applications including but not limited to Stat, SOA, TAM, Candidate Gateway, Control M. Inflight.
Strong problem solving skills and effective communication, along with the ability to work independently, as well as part of cross-functional team.
Works independently and as part of a team. Demonstrated problem-solving skills. Ability to learn effectively and meet deadlines.
Interpersonal skills sufficient to work with both technical and non-technical personnel at various levels in the organization.
Ability to elicit and communicate technical and non-technical information in a clear and concise manner. Required
Capable of performing basic Oracle DBA tasks like taking backups, running queries and restoring objects from backups.
Ability to write technical documentation in a clear and concise manner. Preferred
