Advise prospective and current students on career, academic and transfer matters through individual meetings.
Advise students on college policies and procedures such as registration, testing, add/drop, probation and graduation.
Assist with retention strategies for maintaining student enrollment and completion.
Knowledge of enrollment services and financial aid.
Provide general information about the college experience and success strategies.
Assist with special registration and advising events as needed.
Bachelor's degree required
Strong technical skills and familiarity with Colleague/Student Planning, website navigation and Microsoft Office
Ability to work in a fast paced environment with a diverse population
Willingness to learn and uphold college policies and procedures
Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to be flexible and courteous, and exhibit superior customer service skills
