The Director of Finance Operations is a professional position requiring sound knowledge of various university revenue models, accounting principles, critical thinking skills, budget development, analysis and execution. The primary responsibility of this position is to coordinate financial operations in conjunction with executive leadership, in order to optimize the revenue cycle, reduce expenses and comply with laws, regulations and accrediting standards in the financial areas of higher education administration. Assists with strategic planning, contract negotiating, reimbursement, procurement and development of reports for College leadership. Responsible for effective implementation of the College's financial activities. The College of Arts and Sciences consists of 53 separate departments, programs , centers, and institutes; employs 550 full time faculty, 152 full time research faculty, 220 classified staff, 320 part-time employees and approximately 925 graduate assistants; oversees an operating budget of $97 million plus $32 million in foundation funds and $44 million in grants and awards. Other duties as assigned.
Advertised Minimum Qualifications :
Master's degree and 8 years related experience in business, public administration or administrative services; or bachelor's degree and 10 years related experience.
