Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking an Administrator Academic Support Services for the School of Nursing. The Administrator Academic Support Services will become a valued member of the Administrative Team providing the Division’s leadership with a broad range of administrative, organizational, and coordination services. The position will assist the Associate and Assistant Deans with a diverse range of internal and external activities that support the operational flow of the Division.
Prepares initial academic course schedules and assignments for the Divisional Deans.
Organizes meeting arrangements with appropriate notifications, agenda items, minute keeping, and follow through.
Prepares statistical reports and analysis as required.
Develops administrative guidelines in conjunction with the Associate and Assistant Deans.
Assumes the role of project planner for clinical and academic division projects.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Education Administration, or other related field.
Three (3) years of progressively more responsible professional and/or administrative experience required.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Outstanding writing, editing, verbal, and written communication skills.
Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
Must be able to mentor and supervise administrative staff.
Familiarity with higher education and graduate nursing education preferred.
