Summary of Duties:
The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry within the College of Arts and Sciences seeks a Lab Demonstrator to join our team. The College of Arts and Sciences is the largest college and the academic heart of the university. The College hosts 81 majors. Lab Demonstrator will assist General Chemistry Lab Supervisor with the development, implementation, and setup of general chemistry labs; assist with the development and preparation of teaching aids including laboratory manuals, Carmen assignments and laboratory rubrics; monitor TA adherence to grading policies and deadlines; assist Gen Chem Lab Supervisor and TA training coordinator with the training of graduate students, undergraduate students and staff teaching assistants; develop ongoing TA training materials; assist with responding to student emails; other duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with at least one year of teaching or assistance in teaching.
Target Salary: $16.50 - $22.00 Hourly
