Create and maintain a professional office environment that will promote efficiency and support the daily operations for the Center for International Business Education (CIBE)/ Center for Asian Business (CAB). Reporting to the CIBE Program Management Director/CAB Assistant Director.
Typically a high school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree preferred.Incumbent will be expected to continue upgrading knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to keep abreast of regulation/policy changes.
Minimum 2 years of administrative experience, preferably in an academic environment.
Demonstrated knowledge in the areas of: University resources and facilities. Familiarity with academic processes and procedures.
Ability to multi-task, plan, organize and execute day-to-day operation; work under deadlines and maintain a detail-oriented approach to each task; ability to prioritize and delegate the flow of work on a daily basis.
Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills; ability to prepare and edit memos and minutes, type reports and other documents efficiently.
Highly developed organizational and customer service skills.
Demonstrated computer competency and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook) and other campus databases.
Maintain highly effective working relationships with faculty and staff, Events Scheduling Office, Sodexo Catering Services, Campus Graphics, among other departments, and all off-campus vendors.
