Under supervision, administers noninvasive cardiac procedures to adults, pediatric and new born patients. Procedures include treadmill exercise stress test, Holter monitoring hook-up and scanning, ECG, and signal averaged ECG. Maintains ECG and Holter monitoring management systems and records. Interacts with other health care professionals. Contributes to team activities.
Graduation from college with a major in an applicable natural science; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certification in EKG.
BART or BLS at time of hire with commitment to get BART within six (6) months of hire date.
A minimum of two (2) years of related experience.
Must be able to recognize arrhythmia and abnormalities on ECG.
Must be able to operate equipment utilized for the procedures.
Knowledge and abilities essential to the successful performance of the duties assigned to the position.
Experience in treadmill stress testing and Holter monitor scanning.
Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
