The Department of Dermatology is seeking a Part Time Technician B. The Technician B or Research staff associate will work closely with the PI General lab duties will include ordering, maintaining and organizing laboratory equipment, supplies, and records. Performing other related duties necessary to the functioning of the laboratory.
Experimental duties will include maintenance of cell cultures, in vitro experiments, molecular and cell biology analyses, preparation of mouse tissue specimens, reagents, keeping meticulous record of experiments. Experience with handling of mice required.
Requires a bachelor's degree in biology, biochemistry, or related science or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Background and experience in skin cancer biology is preferred.
