The chosen candidate will work within WKAR's business office to initiate and process accounting transactions for WKAR including DVs, GECs, Requisitions, IAAs, and others as necessary.
Additional responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
Serve as Pcard delegate for all Pcards in the organization to ensure that all information is attached for review by fiscal officer and central offices
Process all Pcard purchases for the business office and attach supporting documentation
Reconcile monthly operating statements for organization by reviewing account activity and work with fiscal officer to make changes, as needed
Process all credit card deposits, set-up new vendors in KFS, manage keys for organization, work with staff to process travel, manage Spartan Spaces update
Apply all incoming payments for internal and external underwriting and production services billing
Unit Specific Education/Experience/Skills
Knowledge normally acquired through a high school education; three to five years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in word processing, spreadsheet, database and/or desktop publishing software; presentation and webpage software; typing and filing; maintaining accounting ledgers; may require knowledge of technical or medical terminology and/or technical knowledge or training related to the field of employment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
High attention to detail
Proven experience with Kuali Financial Systems (KFS)
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Experience with accounting procedures and policies, travel reimbursements
Strong communication skills
