Represent WBUR in the acquisition of financial commitments from local corporations, businesses, and organizations in exchange for on-air acknowledgements of these contributions. Research, develop and pursue qualified underwriting accounts for WBURs various platforms including local airtime reaching a local audience of more than 500,000, national syndication reaching a national audience of more than 5 million, digitalassets including podcasting, streaming, and WBURs mobile app reaching anational audience of more than 2.5 million, among others. Manage prospect accounts, prepare and present proposals to prospects. Negotiatefinal terms of sales contracts (in person and on the phone). Make frequent, pro-active service calls to existing accounts including renewals and up-selling throughout the year. Maintain thorough and up- to-date documentation of each account meeting. Attend and participate fully in weekly department meetings. Participate in on-air fund- raisers.
B.A./B.S., and three to five years of related experience. MUST INCLUDE COVER LETTER IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED.
