What will you be doing in this role?
The Associate Director will direct, manage and lead our global collaborations including consulting, education, management, and joint ventures for CS International to an assigned geographic area. In this role, the Associate Director if responsible for developing multiple relationships that will lead to patient outreach to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center Centers of Excellence. This individual will also be the liaison between Cedars-Sinai and the medical centers, referral agencies, physicians, governmental ministries, public/private insurance companies and medical communities within an assigned geographic area.
Main responsibilities include:
Supervision of the consultants and office staff.
Develop and execute a strategic plan in collaboration with the CS International to increase patients outreach
Promote Cedars-Sinai Health Services to medical community and referral entities via Internet and e-mail; Travel to assigned geographic area to meet with high level personnel representing governmental institutions, referral agencies, and business entities to facilitate a steady, sustainable, outreach of patients to Cedars-Sinai
Contribute to the development of marketing materials in the main language of the assigned geographic area as well as translate to English
Disseminate information regarding CSMC programs, discoveries, and faculty to the assigned geographic medical community and local communities in Los Angeles of the targeted group
Create public awareness of CSMC Centers of Excellence to key demographic communities in the assigned area
Develop, plan and coordinate CSMC annual events for the targeted geographic area.
Collaborate with CSMC staff in the assigned geographic area in increasing 'brand awareness' of CSMC and its Centers of Excellence.
Supervise exchange programs between CSMC and outstanding medical centers in the geographic area for doctors, nurses, and administrative personnel to increase brand awareness of CSMC and market the organization's health services offered; Collaborate with consultants and PR/marketing firms in the assigned geographic area to develop plans to enhance patient outreach and brand awareness
Participate in the development of CSMC CME programs in the assigned geographic area
Coordinate CSMC medical care for key individuals from assigned geographic area and interpret medical consultations and treatment plans for the patient, as well as assist in planning and coordinating follow-up visits
Act as the liaison between CSMC and the referring entity on patient's medical progress
