Under the direction of the Director of Athletics, the Head Baseball Coach is responsible for the total organization, administration and supervision of the menâ™s baseball program.Â The coach is responsible for ensuring compliance with university, conference and NCAA policies and procedures.
Plan and prepare for all practices and contests.
Recruitment of student-athletes.
Maintain appropriate records and files.Â Prepare correspondence in the course of official duties.
Assist student-athletes in obtaining appropriate personal and academic advisement as needed.
Prepare budget recommendations for the baseball program.
Monitor equipment and facility needs, safety standards and inventory control.
Organize and administer a comprehensive menâ™s baseball fund raising program and an alumni development plan.
Participate in the selection and supervision of part-time coaches and student employees.
Serve as on site supervisor for sports in off season as assigned.
Attend and participate in departmental, conference and university-wide meetings related to duties and responsibilities.
Serve on departmental and/or university, conference, regional and national committees as requested.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Coaching at the collegiate level or extensive and successful prior baseball experience.
Bachelorâ™s degree required.Â
Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations; particularly as they apply to menâ™s baseball, recruiting and student athlete eligibility.Â Successful coaching experience is required.
Successful head coaching experience.
Collegiate Playing experience
