The Customer Service/Information Coordinatorserves as the Office of Financial Aidâ™s primary point of contact and assistance with a high level of sensitive internal/external correspondence via telephone, in person, or email. This position is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of various Office of Financial Aid department functions, including supply management, purchasing, mailings, assisting with processing/projects, and other office responsibilities that demand intermediate desktop Microsoft Office skills, converting PDF documents, and experience with Google Suite applications.
Associate's Degree and 2-3 years of direct customer service experience or related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to multi-task with frequent interruptions while maintaining a consistent level of exceptional customer service.
Strong organizational skills
Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse client population and needs, especially in high stress and or time sensitive situations.
Willingness to work cooperatively and creatively with internal teams to resolve problems and make improvements.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including an advanced command of grammar
Proven ability to perform with accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail to ensure compliance with all government and institutional privacy regulations/policies.
Intermediate skills in all Microsoft Applications (including Internet Explorer, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and the Google Suite)
Financial aid experience preferred.
Willingness and ability to support a diverse and inclusive campus community.
