The Department of Physics & Astronomy at the University of Kentucky is seeking candidates for a 2-year (with the possibility of a renewal) post-doctoral scholar position to work on galaxy clusters with Prof. Yuanyuan Su. Experience with X-ray data analysis is desirable, but not a requirement, and candidates with broad observational experience and interest in cluster science and extragalactic astrophysics are also encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will have ample funds for travel and an opportunity to spend 6 months at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics.
