The Intake Coordinator is a key in enhancing the level of competency in patient care and optimal operations within the clinic. This position will allow effective, efficient coordination of all components of multidisciplinary care.
Communication and organizational skills are key in this position in order to facilitate the multidisciplinary coordination necessary for quality patient care and patient satisfaction.
This position will partner with physicians, clinical staff within our clinic, and staff across a variety of UKHC clinical, surgical, and hospital areas, referring physicians, outside facilities, and the patient to achieve the desired outcome for our patients and their families.
Experience with healthcare appointment scheduling, medical insurance referrals and authorizations, medical terminology, new patient coordination, medical records, customer service, program management and patient care coordination.

Bachelor’s degree plus two or more years related experience preferred.
