Research Support - Laboratory/Non-Laboratory, Staff/Administrative
Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey is seeking a motivated Temporary Research Assistant for the department of Health Behavior, Society and Policy within the School of Public Health. The Research Assistant will support the development and administration of several research studies focused on mental health, cancer, and aging.
Among the key duties of this position are the following;
Supports research activities.
Conducts literature reviews.
Assists with the editing and preparation of manuscripts, publications, reports and presentations.
Prepares materials for submission of grant applications.
Prepares and maintains all necessary IRB regulatory documents and IRB submissions.
Collects and analyze data.
Prepares and/or compiles data for special reports and analyses, monthly reports, program evaluations, and other related reports.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Psychology coursework related to aging/gerontology.
Experience with older adults or caregivers and experience with human subjects research.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Must be able to lift or exert up to 25 pounds.
Access to a vehicle
Valid driver's license
