Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Program Administrator for the Office of the Dean of Graduate Medical Education at the Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
The Graduate Medical Education Program Administrator is responsible for administrative and financial activities of the residency/fellowship training programs of Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (RWJMS). This includes oversight of the master (yearly) schedules for residents and fellows, preparation of data for the monthly and yearly Graduate Medical Education (GME) charges to affiliate hospitals, preparation of data for school/RBHS reports, administration of staff transaction forms for residents and fellows and other administrative and financial activities. In this position, the Graduate Medical Education Program Administrator serves as the Institutional Coordinator for the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and the National Residency Matching Program (NRMP).
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
Maintains monthly and year to date information for accounting and budgetary purposes in regard to resident and fellow assignments.
Prepares monthly housestaff (resident and fellows) bills based on rotation assignments to affiliate hospitals.
Prepares bills as needed for ancillary charges to affiliate hospitals.
