Working closely with the Assistant Dean of Strategic Enrollment Marketing and Communications and the Assistant Director of Marketing and Communications in the College of Science (COS), the Graphics Specialist will efficiently and cost-effectively scope, create and produce marketing materials for the College. Leveraging both current and new technologies, the Graphics Specialist will also help establish and maintain College branding templates and standards. Working in both group and individual settings, the incumbent will also serve as a graphics materials resource, adviser, and coordinator for flyers, RiseVision television display graphics, website and video graphics assets and communications template related items in the college.
Completion of a bachelors degree or bachelors of fine arts degree in graphic arts, a closely other related area, or equivalent education and experience;
Demonstrated knowledge of print, digital, and other medium design and production processes and best practices;
Excellent interpersonal communications and problem-solving skills;
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite;
Highly developed project scoping, managing and organizational skills;
Ability to operate effectively both independently and as a team player;
Ability to multitask;
Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds;
Excellent verbal and writing skills; and
Strong problem solving skills.
Experience producing marketing materials in a community college or 4-year state higher education environment;
Experience producing marketing materials in an R1 university higher education environment (strongly preferred);
Experience using Adobe Premiere and RiseVisio systems;
Experience using Wrike project management system;
Experience designing graphics for website landing pages, infographics and social media.
Salary: Commensurate with education and experience.
