The Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh invites applications for up to two part-time Lab Instructor positions for the spring term, each on a one-term basis, with an anticipated start date of 6 January 2020. These positions are outside of the tenure stream and entail teaching one or two sections of the Human Physiology laboratory course. Minimum qualifications are an MS degree in biology or related field with some teaching experience; preferred qualifications are publication of post-graduate research work or a PhD in the biological sciences, formal training in teaching, experience as sole instructor of a laboratory course, and experience teaching an authentic-research laboratory course. Teaching evening sections may be needed.
