Reporting to a Grants Manager, within the Department of Neurology, this position, along with a second grants coordinator (GC), will be primarily responsible for providing excellent customer service to the Department's research faculty and staff while providing a large variety of tasks. Â Duties will begin with taking full ownership of purchasing/reimbursement needs within the department including purchasing, non-PO processing, PCard usage, the creation of subcontractor PO's, and payment of subcontractor invoices while meeting University, PSOM, and other regulatory policies. Â The GC will be expected to further develop their grants related skills to where they are independently initiating RIS submissions for new subcontracts, creating tracking spreadsheets for subcontractor invoices, ensuring invoices are accurate and timely, and that payments to our subcontracts are processed quickly and in accordance with OMB, University, and PSOM policies. Â Â Regular reporting of subcontractor status to Grants Managers will be required. Â This position will also be responsible for the creation and tracking of various grants related documents and for monitoring suspense accounts and completing journal entries. This position reports to the Grants Manager within the department and has a dotted reporting line to the PSOM Office of Research Support Services.
The Grants Coordinator B will also have 2-4 years of experience in research administration and in addition to the above duties. The Grants Coordinator B may assist in submitting grant proposals and/or completing portfolio reviews for junior faculty.
