The Office Support Assistant, under the direction of the Department Supervisor, Clothing Distribution Center and Supplies department. This person will spend 50% of their time at the warehouse and 50% of their time in the supply area of the Bookstore at Coffman Union.
Warehouse functions: performs a variety of tasks as assigned including receiving deliveries of merchandise, matching to the purchase order, pricing, entering receiving information into the RATEX inventory management system, boxing and shelving the product in the DC, pulling merchandise destined for the stores and preparing merchandise for delivery. Assists with the fulfillment of web orders as needed.
Store functions: includes assisting customers on the sales floors, ensuring accurate merchandise displays, stocking shelves, and helping in the supervision of student staff. Ensure the highest level of customer service. Ensure all customers entering the supplies department are greeted in a timely manner. Assists with special events and on the sales floor of the stores as needed.
The position reports directly to the Bookstore Department Supervisor(s).
• 40% - Receiving, pricing, designating locations for product coming into the distribution center. Replenish inventory to campus bookstores for clothing, gifts and supplies. • 40% - Assist customer on sales floor with product questions, make sure all merchandise on sales floor are properly ticketed and appropriately display. Daily stock shelves and put merchandise away as needed. Supervise student works and working in the supply area on Saturdays • 20% Miscellaneous duties as assigned at the store and the warehouse

Anticipated Hiring Range: $15.69 - $19.11
Work is performed mainly in a warehouse and retail store environment.
• High School Diploma/GED and one year general office/clerical experience Training/education may substitute for some of the experience. Requires knowledge and/or demonstrated ability needed to perform general office tasks. Specific knowledge/skills may be required • Ability to lift 30+ pounds required • At least one year experience in a retail environment or warehouse distribution center.
