Position Description: UCLA Events & Transportation (E&T) is seeking an experienced database developer. The primary functions of the position will be to architect, design, code, and test database solutions and system interfaces using Microsoft tools and technologies such as SQL Server, Integration Services, Reporting Services, and C#. Additional requirements are to maintain system activities including support for bug fixes, enhancements to existing applications, and building interfaces between applications and vendor systems. Assist E&T units with business specifications and produce technical design documents. Develop and implement innovative technology solutions that streamline and improve operational processes.
Incumbent must balance workload to complete competing projects while meeting or exceeding customer expectations. Strong emphasis is placed on meeting deadlines and project milestones, maintaining communication with customers, and meeting budgetary objectives.
