Position Summary: Representing the front line of support, the successful candidate will be someone who applies moderately complex professional networking skills to troubleshooting, installation and configuration of a multi-site network topology. Additionally, they'll be responsible for adhering to relevant policies and procedures to resolve connectivity, performance, and access issues. Finally, this role will exercise judgement to solve problems of moderate scope and complexity which require technical analysis of network configurations or network behavior.

Maintains and troubleshoots LANs, WANs, and wireless networks, including routers, hubs, switches, and other hardware. Ensure and maintain reliable network connectivity for all servers, workstations, desktops, and other networking appliances through troubleshooting best practices and effective communication.
Job Requirements Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training. Required
Knowledge/Skills: Proven knowledge and experience with LAN, WAN, VLAN, and WLAN support and troubleshooting.
Ability to gather, organize and understand data in the completion of a variety of functional assignments.
Working knowledge of firewall, VPN, and wireless network technology in an enterprise environment.
Basic understanding of various network hardware platforms, network related protocols and software including basic understanding of OSI layer 2 and 3 protocols, VPNs, and related technical standards critical to the operation of interconnected networks.
Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast paced environment, balancing multiple projects and tasks while completing them thoroughly and on schedule.
Demonstrated ability to communicate technical information to technical and non-technical personnel at various levels in the organization.
Self-motivated and works unassisted as well as part of a team. Required
Experience working with network diagnostic and performance management tools and software.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills of moderate scope and complexity. Preferred
