Essential Functions: The Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care and Sleep Medicine is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic full-time research assistant to assist the WSU/VA Principal Investigator(s) in ongoing sleep research. Primary responsibilities will include: Participant recruitment Performing night sleep studies (after a sufficient training period) Data collection Analysis of sleep and ventilatory parameters Maintaining research records Assisting with grant and manuscript writing Preparation and completion of IRB forms/applications and follow up on renewals of research protocols Related duties as assigned This position is ideal for an individual working toward their doctoral degree in the field of cardio-respiratory physiology. Likewise, research nurses/physician assistants interested in completing their doctoral degree in the area of cardio-respiratory physiology are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required.
