Northwestern University is seeking a temporary Part-time Research Assistant for the Chicago campus.
Temporary Job Description:
The temporary Research Assistant position provides standard and routine project and administrative support, which may include word processing, data entry, ordering supplies, opening and sorting mail, copying, filing, faxing, answering phones, greeting visitors, providing information, and/or scheduling meetings. Additionally, the temporary Research Assistant is responsible for assisting with participant recruitment activities which are available in English and Spanish. Recruitment activities include sending out study reminders to participants, updating participant tracking software, and conducting phone interviews & participant feedback collection.
A bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience;
Strong communication skills;
High level of organizational skills and attention to detail;
Diligent and can work independently;
Experience working with confidential information;
Flexibility, adaptability in a fast paced environment.
MS Office suite 2013 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Familiarity with Research Study Recruitment and HIV Research with Minority Health populations.
Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
