Educational Technology Services seeks a Tech Hub Manager to help shape and steward our Tech Hub Collaboration Space. This individual will work closely with the ETS Director to develop and support technology training programming and outreach for Chapman University faculty, staff and students.
The Manager will build and support the vision of the Tech Hub and ensure its smooth and effective operation, oversee staff, and resources. S/he will integrate Tech Hub goals and activities into the service profile of IS&T.
Demonstrated professional experience in an administrator position that includes supervision of personnel and project management.
Technical Proficencies and the ability to advise on hardware and software purchasing and implementation.
Demonstrated capacity to learn new skills and technologies.
Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills to work with diverse individuals at all levels across the university.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Familiarity with recent scholarship and emergent best practices in educational technology.
Ability to teach in workshop or classroom setting and experience with effective digital pedagogy.
Ability to ensure and comply with university and department policies and procedures.
Demonstrated tact and diplomacy and ability to handle confidential information.
Graduate study in an academic discipline.
Teaching experience in Higher Education.
