This position will be responsible for transfecting cultured human cells with ONA, mlRNA and siRNA, generating and handling retro- and lenti-viruses for delivery into human tissue culture cells, protein immune-precipitation and perform immunological assays like ELISAs, etc. Also, position will ensure function of these cells with in vitro and in vivo assays. Evaluation of function in animal models will also be required.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in a discipline related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Experience with mammalian tissue culture is required. Aseptic techniques is required. Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel are required. Organization and good record keeping is essential.
At least one year of directly related experience necessary to perform the assigned duties. Experience with flow cytometry, fluorescence microscopy and handling of small animal is highly desired.
