This position is to provide statistical and data management support to Cancer Center researchers and senior statisticians, particularly in the form of statistical programing. Knowledge of SAS required, and knowledge of R or other statistical programs and languages would be beneficial. Must be an analytical thinker who processes knowledge of commonly used SAS statistical procedures, concepts, and practices. Must demonstrate communication skills, attention to detail, teamwork, flexibility, and the ability to plan and organize, and to meet scheduled time lines. This person will work with Cancer Center researchers, other BIOS Core statisticians, and Clinical Protocol Office data management personnel. Efforts will be coordinated by the BIOS Core facility director.
Education and Experience:
The candidate must be able to program using SAS (programming ability in R would be beneficial) and have some experience and desire to work with Microsoft’s Access and Excel programs.
