The Biostatistics Center (Center) of the George Washington University Milken Institute School of Public Health (SPH) is recruiting a 12-month open-rank tenure-track or tenured faculty member. The successful candidate will develop a program of sponsored research at the Biostatistics Center, and contribute to the graduate education programs, with an academic appointment in the Department of Biostatistics and Bioinformatics (DBB) of the George Washington University MISPH. Academic rank and salary are competitive and will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. A doctorate in statistics, biostatistics, epidemiology, data science or medicine; a track record of peer-reviewed publications; experience proposing and/or implementing funded research in clinical trials, epidemiologic studies, or diagnostic studies; experience in the design, data monitoring, analysis and/or reporting of clinical trials or other studies; and excellent oral and written communication skills. Collaborative research experience as evidenced by subject matter publications is required. All but dissertation (ABD) applicants will be considered for a conditional appointment at the rank of instructor and must have their doctoral degree conferred within 6 months of the effective date of appointment.
