The Technician B will perform a variety of research duties of a routine and technical nature in support of multi-center clinical trials.
Obtain subject consent for participation in database protocol and conduct scripted patient interviews to collect long term follow-up data.
Provide data entry into MS Access database.
Work with NYPH and CIVT staff to enter Case Report data into various clinical trial databases.
Follow established protocols within the lab.
Preform other related duties as assigned.
Requires a bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, physics or related science or equivalent combination of education, training experience.
Knowledge of Cardiology Plus
The candidate selected for this position is required to undergo a drug screening test prior to a final offer of employment being made.
Ability to verbally communicate effectively with Physician, Nurses, Pharmaceutical companies and other team members. Ability to communicate effectively when reading and writing e-mail, letters and other reports.
Must participate in medical surveillance program.
Must successfully complete systems training requirements.
