Responsible for applying the code of conduct to ensure students receive due process and are knowledgeable of their rights and responsibilities
Serving as the primary point of contact for student complaints and code of conduct violations, including conducting interviews, maintaining documentation, consulting with the College Behavioral Intervention Team, campus security and appropriate administrators, and communicating sanctions or other outcomes
Serve as the Deputy Title IX Coordinator, fielding complaints and issues, investigating, providing resources, and consulting with faculty to ensure compliance
Consult with Title IX Coordinator on student cases as needed
Convene Behavioral Intervention Team (BIT) and provide annual trainings for the BIT
Convene the Title IX Advisory Committee
Providing training for students, faculty, and staff about Title IX and related topics with a focus on prevention and safety (sexual assault, intimate partner violence, reporting and resources, etc.)
Work with community partners to ensure seamless referrals and accurate information about services
Maintain and update information on the college web site and materials such as the Care Cards
Follow up with students utilizing Title IX accommodations as a case manager/college support person
Follow up with students involved in conduct cases as a success coach
Provide student success training through the lens of code of conduct expectations
Ensure annual notification of Title IX and non-discrimination policies
Coordinate required drug and alcohol training for students per federal title IV regulations
Work with campus security to ensure tracking of incidents and reporting for Cleary and Minger Act.
Support and participate in student success initiatives as needed.
The position is housed on the Downtown campus; however, travel may be required to support student services at our other five campus locations.
SALARY: The annual salary range is $37,704.00 - $47,496.00.
