The successful candidate will teach one to two courses per semester and sometimes in summer in service of the department's efforts to enhance undergraduate and graduate curricula. We seek a colleague who embraces the Department's core value of community engagement and who will bring the scholarship of education and sustainability to bear on critical agriculture, food and natural resources issues challenging communities across Michigan, the U.S. and the world.
Duties include: Developing and delivering high quality classroom instruction tied to curriculum learning outcomes for two courses (CSUS 464 and CSUS 465)
Masters -Policy and Law
*Have at least 5 years of relevant experience;
*Potential for successful teaching in the sustainability core curriculum, particularly related to community engagement;
*Evidence of at least 3 years professional teaching experience;
*Demonstrated interest in community engagement and collaborative and interdisciplinary research
