The Director will coordinate the commercial leasing of all University owned and non-owned properties as well as the acquisition and disposition of property to include sales agreements, and related due diligence. The incumbent will analyze data and prepare complex reports for the Associate Vice Chancellor, effectively plan departmental and capital budgets, provide budgetary recommendations, and develop projects based on budgetary analysis. The individual will direct lease expenditures in excess of $54 million in annual expenses and $12 million in revenue in addition to the management of departmental budgets in excess of $1 million.
Duties include review of University policy and procedures to determine how best to apply to University's various plans (Master Plan, Housing Strategy, Transportation Plan), responsibility for daily operation and maintenance of department and supervision of office staff, and active involvement in various University committees.
Must be able to deal with complex issues using tact and diplomacy, by resolving issues with emphasis on the needs of students and staff affected. Must be able to evaluate and handle day-to-day and emergency situations with reason and rationale in a calm and professional manner.
Masters degree and related experience. PA Real Estate license preferred.
