DIRECTOR OF DIVERSITY, EQUITY AND INCLUSION (DEI) , MIT Medical , to guide and lead MIT Medical's efforts to ensure an environment that values and demonstrates its commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion for both patients and employees. Will direct organizational change as it develops, aligns, and integrates a range of new and existing initiatives, policies, and procedures into a cohesive platform that will foster a more inclusive, welcoming, supportive, and diverse health care community; act as a key member of MIT Medical's executive leadership team, establishing and nurturing collaborative partnerships with all stakeholders; build on existing accomplishments in collaboration with key stakeholders by examining current practices, policies, procedures, programs, and structures; and expand and extend the values of diversity, equity, and inclusion through teaching, scholarship and broad engagement of patients and employees.
Job Requirements REQUIRED : B.A./B.S. (advanced degree desirable) in relevant discipline; at least seven years' DEI and progressively responsible experience; demonstrated record of effective development of a DEI program; excellent organizational, interpersonal, leadership, and oral and written communication and presentation skills; commitment to shared problem solving; experience developing and supporting continuous improvement principles utilizing a systemic approach and data for decision-making and strategic plans; experience working collaboratively across multiple internal/external offices; and experience facilitating challenging conversations that produce positive outcomes. Must be able to lead through persuasion; adapt approaches to situational needs; foster collaborative relationships; build trust and consensus; effectively and productively facilitate group meetings; build formal and informal professional networks; and solicit advice, support, championship, and sponsorship among broad base of employees to effectively develop solutions and manage change.
