Serves as the primary contact for MAE Admin Staff & Communications Manager and the Director of Innovation & Entrepreneurship within the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (MAE); schedules, coordinates, and provides support for department’s seminars and events (e.g. facilitates hosts and speakers, assists with the preparation and distribution of promotional materials and correspondences, etc.); organizes meetings for faculty and staff in MAE; collects and submits documentation for administrative processes and systems while adhering to department procedures and College and University policies; creates and distributes communications on behalf of department; provides general administrative support for the Director of Innovation & Entrepreneurship for Engineering and Business including assisting with travel arrangements, and meeting planning.

Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience; strong written, and verbal communication skills; strong organizational skills and experience using Microsoft Office suite; experience working in an administrative support capacity; experience working and functioning as a member of a team with the ability to multi-task, while maintaining complex schedules.
Experience working in a higher education setting; experience working with and contributing to diverse learning environments.
Target Salary: $15.00 - $18.15 Hourly
